video games + violence

Over the last years violent video games have become more and more realistic, is this promoting violence within people.

CALL OF DUTY
Call of duty is a very popular game it is very violent and could lead to people copyin the game and actually pysically killing someone you never know, it is a 18 but loads of people under the age of 18 play it which i guess is ok because people will just say its only a game but they dont realise that one day there could be big influences from the game which can then lead to big incidents. People get addicted to it and play it everyday and it is talked about alot so that must mean that it is highly influenced.

Anders Breivik
1st May 2012 a man named Anders Breivik from Norway was charged with 77 attempts of murder all because of call of duty as he used the game as a training aid he made the attacks in Oslo and Utoya.
This is an example of a very bad influence i was taking about so imagine if your kid was palying call of duty and had thought track of i wanna kill people going through is head what would your opinion on the game be?

What causes the violence
Violent behaviour can be caused when games are played alone, as the game player has no one to compete against.  This means that the aggressive behaviour encouraged by the game has no way of being used up and so it can be aimed at an object or person. If you play a cooperative game with another person then this means that the aggressive behaviour is used constructively during the game against the competitor.

Mobile Phones - How they have changed over the years..

How smart phones have change the way we live?
Smartphones are influencing the way we live our everyday lives and interact with other human beings, even our closest friends and family. Back in the old days a mobile phone was just plain and simple just with buttons but these days mobile phones are more technical  for example these days we have touch phones back in the old days nobody would of even thought of that, these days people will not going anywhere without there phone however i reckon in the old days people wouldnt of cared so much. We now spend alot of time on our phones texting using internet phonecalls so on so it has changed the way we live as we spend less time doing something else because we would rather be checking our phones every 2 seconds.

Texting - Average text per month in britain is 6.5 million

What did the first mobile phone look like? What could you do with it?
The first phone was very plain and boring no internet you couldnt text the only thing you could do is ring people and that is what i would call a very lifeless phone. The price of this phone when it first ever came out was $3,995 but if you was to buy today it would cost like £20 or less.
What is the latest Smart phone available? What apps does it have to help the way we live?
The latest smart phone available is the iphone 5, now on the iphone you can download a boarding pass and you can scan it and it works you can also get banking apps where you can bank on your mobile phone there is lots of different things you can order train tickets aswell just lots of new various stuff. it is very expensive though the price of an iphone 5 is around £600 which is a lot of money for a phone but its worth it. Phones with wifi have made our lifes easier because everyone is contactable easily you can access the internet easier.
